Our story began in 1982, when Smt. Kalavatiben Gandhi set out with a simple dream—to create opportunities for women while sharing the rich, authentic flavors of India. What started as a small initiative, Shri Mahila Gruh Udyog Kalapi Papad, quickly grew into something larger than life.
By 1984, the name Kalapi had become a symbol of homemade taste, trust, and tradition. From crunchy papads to tangy pickles, zesty chutneys, and flavorful sauces, every product we make carries a piece of India’s culinary heritage.
For more than four decades, we’ve stayed true to our promise of quality and consistency, while continuously innovating to delight generations of families. Today, Kalapi is proud to be one of the most loved brands not just in Gujarat, but across India—bringing people together through the flavors they cherish.
